This is a lovely simple recipe using our popular ORGANIC SPELT FLOUR by MILL PERNER – great with a strong cheddar cheese.
Ingredients:
150 g ORGANIC SPELT FINE FLOUR
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp golden sugar [optional]
1 tbsp fine chopped Rosemary [leave some for garnish]
Or Herbs / seasoning of choice
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
80ml water [approx. to bind]
Method:
Preheat oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7
Combine all dry ingredients
Add olive oil and slowly add enough water until smooth dough formed.
Using greaseproof paper sandwich the dough between it to roll out nice and thin.
Cut to size, prick with a fork, sprinkle garnish and a little sea salt.
Bake for 20 mins or until they are just beginning to crisp up.
Experiment by adding different flavours: paprika / salt / garlic / chives / parmesan.
