Red Lentils - 500g

Red lentils are sweeter than green, brown or black lentils. These lentils that are mostly used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. Of all the lentils, they cook quickly and they don´t require pre soaking. However, they don’t tend to keep their texture once cooked. Red lentils are a rich source of nutrition providing protein, fibre and numerous minerals.

Red Lentils have a mild taste and are used in Daal, curries and to thicken soups as well as to make lentil burgers. Red lentils are amongst the top ranked legumes for phenolic content. Lentils boast an antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory effect and are cardio-protective.

Preparation guidelines: Red Lentils do not need to be soaked rinse them and then add them to your stew, soup etc. for cooking.

Suitable for: Plant based diets, Vegans, Vegetarians, Kosher, Halal

Storage: Keep bags tightly closed after partial use. Store in a cool dry place.

Delivery is offered on a next day basis with orders dispatched from Monday to Friday.  Any orders placed before 12pm Monday to Friday, will be dispatched the same day and any orders placed after 12pm will be dispatched the following working day.

Once dispatched, we will notify you by email.  Our courier will then notify you confirming the delivery details and a delivery slot if at all possible.

Deliveries will not be made on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Returns, Refund and Cancellation Policy

Should you need to return goods due to the products being faulty or incorrectly described, please contact us and we will arrange collection.

If you need to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible prior to despatch..

We offer a full refund for returns and cancelations.   However, if the reason for refund is not due to faulty goods, then you must pay the costs of return.  We recommend that you return the products in their original packaging and use a tracked and signed for service to ensure that the products reach us safely.
